When we travel, gay friendly travel destinations are not really a priority. These days the majority of countries are ambivalent to one’s sexual preferences. We choose destinations based on attractions, costs and favourability. Of course being members of the fairy fay we have to check out the “scene” to see what’s on the slab, and naturally gay friendly/owned establishments are supported over others.

While there are still areas of the country where LGBT travelers may face discrimination or hostility, there are many destinations that are known for their welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

Unfortunately, there are still many countries in the world where being gay is either illegal or not socially accepted.
